Viewpoint SNØHETTA

This is an R&D and tribute project of visualizing Tverrfjellhytta, Norwegian Wild Reindeer Pavilion in Dovre, Norway which was designed by Snøhetta. It is an amazingly thought out project and we will definitely visit it one day.

Everything is modeled and textured by us. The entire visualization took 24 hours in total including searching for references and creation of the rendered output.

Most of the model is eyeballed from photos while the 2D shape is thankfully obtainable through a floorplan that is available on the internet. We took the liberty to show some images from under the hood.

We chose to visualize the space using Unreal Engine 4. As everything renders in real time, it is possible to walk and look around with a mouse or in VR or create preset camera flythroughs in a matter of minutes.
